This blog post was posted 12 hours later than I normally make my blogs live.
Stuff came up, life changes are messing with my schedule, and I didn’t have a blog written and ready to go by this morning. I almost debated skipping this week altogether and pretending it never happened. Just look the other way and then next week go, “Ta-da! What missed post are you talking about?”
It was while I was doing dishes this late afternoon that I realized that I needed to post something. Because, in some cases, late is better than never.
For as long as you live:
- It’s never too late to start exercising and eating right.
- It’s never too late to set goals and improve your life.
- It’s never too late to fix a broken relationship.
- It’s never too late to be made whole in Christ.
For far too long, I always made the excuse that since I didn’t reach my ideal goal weight by such-and-such date (a birth year), than there was no point in exercising or eating right. Which is ridiculous. It does matter. Sure, I might be delayed to get healthy, and sure it gets harder as you get older, but that’s no reason to give up.
The race is still in progress. It’s never too late to start. So pick yourself back up, and start again.
